Peiffer Contracting Ltd. is committed to providing a safe work environment for its employees, customers, and the general public present at our work sites. This includes personal safety and the protection of property on the job in accordance and compliance with company practice, industry standards, and applicable government regulations. This applies to all employees of the company.
Management will monitor and refine the Safety Program, set the example, provide the necessary training and equipment, and with the employee input and assistance, direct the development of accurate safe work procedures to prevent accidents. They also shall establish and maintain adequate standards of maintenance for all Peiffer Contracting Ltd. equipment to ensure all hazards are guarded or eliminated.
Company supervisor will set the example, report concerns to management, report any accidents or losses, train the employees on Safe Work Procedures, and perform regular inspections.
Employees, contractors and sub-contractors will participate, accept, and adopt the principles described in the safety program and work in a safe and responsible manner, following the Safe Work Procedures in the Safety & Loss Prevention Manual.
The company goal of the safety program is full participation of all employees, as well as an accident and injury-free workplace.
